Relaxing into the Present Moment- 30 minutes to Calm 3/26

Relaxing deeply into the present moment was the theme of class last week. This involves two steps: first, we have bring ourselves back into the present moment and then we practice relaxing and softening here. We practiced breath work, body mindfulness and visualization.


Breathwork: The fastest way I know how to pull myself back into the present moment is through breath work. Here's what we did:

3 minutes left nostril breathing (calming)

3 minutes right nostril breathing (energizing)

3 minutes alternate nostril breathing (balancing)

3 minutes breath of fire (for immunity and nervous system strength)
